Lane is a retired Army intelligence colonel with a foundation in leadership, analysis, attention to detail and compassion for others and is now helping financial advisors find a new home and serve clients at a high level on a growing and dynamic wealth platform. Lane and his team’s team goal is to make the Bison Advisors platform more efficient, build and deploy tools for advisors to assist advisors in deeply serving clients.  Lane also serves as the Managing Director of Investment Operations in Brookhaven Family Office, an affiliated firm.

Lane graduated from the University of North Georgia in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In the Army, he served in a variety of command and strategic planning positions. Lane lived overseas for more than 11 years, trained or deployed to 31 countries, served three combat tours, commanded a 1600-person organization in Iraq and led an Army level talent management program that produces general officers. During that time, he graduated from the US Army Ranger, Airborne and Air Assault qualification courses and earned a Master of Science degree in the Science of Instruction from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Lane grew up in Atlanta and currently lives in Rome, Georgia with his wife Christi and their three daughters. In their spare time, they enjoy watching kid soccer and volleyball, spending time with their rescued dogs and cats and going to the Rome Emperors baseball games. Lane is also a member of the American Legion Post 52 and VFW Post 4911.
